Bolo de Limão & Iogurte | Lemon & Yogurt Cake

Quando nos mudámos de casa, fomos logo abordados pelos vizinhos que, curiosos, queriam saber acerca de nós. Logo ali criámos algumas cumplicidades, natural entre vizinhos.

Desde então já houve trocas de produtos: vegetais, fruta, bolos, pão…
É um prazer poder fazê-lo e um gosto enorme receber algo. Significa que as palavras “comunidade” e “caridade” ainda existem e têm valor.

Este bolo teve precisamente o destino de parar nas mãos de vizinhos. É um daqueles bolos clássicos que gostamos de comer uma fatia, acompanhado de uma bebida fresca, numa tarde de Verão, enquanto se troca dois dedos de conversa com o vizinho do lado.

Ingredientes:
(Serve 8-9)

  • 230 g farinha
  • 180 g manteiga sem sal
  • 150 g açúcar branco
  • 1 Colher de sobremesa de fermento em pó
  • 1 Iogurte natural
  • 2 Ovos
  • Raspa e sumo de 1 limão

Para a cobertura:

  • Chocolate branco q.b.
  • 1 Colher de sopa de leite meio-gordo

Pré-aquecer o forno a 160ºC.

Misturar todos os ingredientes, menos a farinha e o fermento em pó, até obter uma massa homogénea e leve.

Peneirar a farinha e o fermento, e juntar ao preparado anterior. Misturar bem.

Colocar numa forma previamente untada e levar ao forno cerca de 40 a 50 minutos.

Retirar do forno e deixar arrefecer. Entretanto, derreter um pouco de chocolate branco juntamente com uma colher de sopa de leite meio-gordo. Verter sobre o bolo.


When we moved house, we were approached by the neighbors, which, curious, wanted to know who we were, where we came from, among other information. Right away we created some complicities, natural between neighbors.

Since then, there were already some exchange of a variety of products: veggies, fruit, cakes and bread… It is a pleasure to do it and receive things too; it means the words “community” and “charity” still exists and mean something.

The destiny of this cake was precisely the hands of our neighbors. It is one of those cakes we like to eat a slice, as we drink something refreshing in a warm day of Summer, while chatting and gossiping with the neighbor next door.

Ingredients:
(Serves 8-9)

  • 230 g flour
  • 180 g unsalted butter
  • 150 g white sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Natural yogurt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Lemon zest and juice

For the topping:

  • White chocolate
  • 1 Tablespoon semi-skimmed milk

Pre-heat the oven (160º C).

Mix all the ingredients, less the flour and baking powder, until you obtain a homogeneous and smooth batter.

Add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix well. Pour te dough into a greased tin and bake it for about 40 to 50 minutes.

When ready, let it cool down. Meanwhile prepare the topping by melting the white chocolate with the tablespoon of milk; pour over the cake.
