Olá! O meu nome é Marli e sou a cara e mãos por detrás de todas as receitas que por aqui passam.
Sou Portuguesa de nascença e da bonita Zona Oeste, embora esteja a viver neste momento no Sul de Portugal com o meu marido e dois filhos.
Ter crescido numa casa tipicamente Portuguesa e numa zona rica em gastronomia, com uma Costa maravilhosa e recheada de peixe e marisco, a minha vida e a da minha família foi sempre muito à volta da comida.
O meu percurso culinário começou no entanto mais tarde, quando decidi envergar na aventura de escrever um blogue. O meu jeito para a cozinha ou bolos era muito pouco – eu estava habituada a comer e não a sujar as mãos! No entanto, os anos que vi a minha avó materna e mãe na cozinha, e os fantásticos festins a que nos presenteavam, serviram-me de inspiração e decidi tornar-me tão boa quanto elas.
Assim nasceu Devaneios de Chocolate, em 2012. Um cantinho que tem vindo a crescer não só em número de seguidores, mas em sabedoria também. Tenho aprendido muito e tem sido muito divertido! Estou a amar cada segundo.
Para mim, a cozinha é o coração e alma da casa e todos são bem-vindos na minha! Por isso fiquem por aí, bebam uma chávena de café comigo e criem algo delicioso também!

Olá! My name is Marli and I am the face and hands behind all the recipes of this little corner.
I am born Portuguese and from the beautiful area Zona Oeste, although I am currently living in the South of Portugal with my husband and our two sons.
Coming from a traditional Portuguese household and from a place so rich in gastronomy and with such amazing coastline with all the fish and shelfish, my life and my family’s was pretty much all about and around food.
My culinary path started much later though, when I decided to start the adventure of writing a food blog. My skill and art in the kitchen or as a baker was absolutely none – I was used to eat, not to get my hands in the dough! However, all the years watching my maternal grandmother and mother in the kitchen, and presenting us such amazing feasts, inspired me and made me wanting to be as good as they are.
So Devaneios de Chocolate was born in 2012. A small place that has been growing not only in number of followers but in wisdom too. I have learnt so much and it has been so fun! I am loving it, every single second.
For me the kitchen is the heart and soul of a house and everyone is welcome in mine! So stick around, drink a cup of coffee with me and create something delicious too!
